November 23, 2025, the 22nd Academic Annual Conference and Committee Election Meeting of the System Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering was grandly opened in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. The conference was organized by the System Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, hosted by Hebei Normal University, and co-organized by CUFE Business School. With the theme “Integration of System Dynamics and Artificial Intelligence: Empowering New Quality Productive Forces and Sustainable Development,” the event brought together leading scholars and industry experts in the field of system dynamics from across China.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Li Guijun, President of Hebei Normal University, delivered a welcome address. Professor Fan Ying, Vice President of the Systems Engineering Society of China, delivered remarks, fully recognizing the contributions made by the System Dynamics Professional Committee over the years in advancing disciplinary development, promoting academic exchange, and serving national strategic needs.
Nine renowned experts, including Professor Chen Jin from Tsinghua University and Professor Li Yongjian from Nankai University, delivered keynote speeches. Their presentations covered a wide range of topics, including systems engineering, supply chain management, sustainable development, and the application of system dynamics in the fields of economics and finance, sharing cutting-edge research findings and practical experiences.
During the conference, the election of the 7th Committee of the System Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering was conducted. Several faculty members from CUFE Business School were elected as members of the new committee, with Professor Jia Xiaojing elected as Secretary-General. During the parallel forum sessions, multiple doctoral and master’s students from CUFE Business School actively participated and delivered academic presentations.
This annual conference serves as an important platform for academic exchange in the field of system dynamics. As a co-organizing institution, CUFE Business School further strengthened its close connections with domestic peers through active organization and participation, and continued to promote the innovation and application of system dynamics in the fields of management science, resources and environment, and finance and economics.
