On October 30th, 2014, Dr. Michael McGinniss,President Emeritusof La Salle University, the US, visited CUFE. Zhao Lifen, Vice President of CUFE received the guest. Dean of the Business School Wang Ruihua, Head of the University International Cooperation Department Zhang Xiaoyan and Vice dean of the Business School Cui Xinjian were present.  

Vice President Zhao Lifenand Dr. Michael McGinniss introduced the two universities to each other in general situation, disciplines development, students of degree programs and alumni networks. On behalf of CUFE,Vice President Zhao Lifen expressed the university’s determination of broadening and deepening exchange and cooperation with universities from the US. Dean Wang Ruihua introduced the Business School’s development, subject setting, teaching and learning, faculty building and internationalization; and shared his opinions on business education’s accreditation. Dr. Michael McGinniss spoke highly of the features and level of the CUFE Business School. He hoped to promote deeper cooperation between the two universities by joint efforts.    

Then, the two sides had a further talk on concrete issues about education cooperation, which would lay a solid foundation for the two universities to have more cooperation.  

There has been cooperation relationship between CUFE and La Salle University for many years. The two universities carried out actively faculty and student exchange and built profound friendship. This visit accelerated the progress of cooperation and exchange between the two universities and promoted CUFE’s international communication and cooperation work.
