October 16th, 2015, Dr. Scott Dawson, Dean of College of Business, California Polytechnic State University, and Dr. Weijun Zhao, Special Advisor for China Programs, California Polytechnic State University visited CUFE Business School. Professor Wang Ruihua, Dean of CUFE Business School, and Professor GeJianxin, Secretary of Party General Branch received the guests.      

First, Professor Wang Ruihuawelcomed Dr. Scott Dawson and Dr. Weijun Zhao. Then, Dean Dawson introduced student number, degree program of College of Business, California Polytechnic State University, especially the 3+1+1, and 3+1 international programs. Dean Wang Ruihua made a brief introduction of the history, students, disciplines, majors, and the International Summer School of CUFEas well asthe Business School.      

Dean Dawson hoped the two schools would have more communication and cooperation. Dean Wang said it has been a tenet in Business School’s international communication work to makethebestofthebothsides and seek distinctivecooperative projects suited to current conditions. Dean Wang expected more communication withCollege of Business, California Polytechnic State University. Then, ProfessorGeJianxin and Dean Dawson discussed the details of cooperation between the two sides and launched a further co-op scheme.      

California Polytechnic State University, located in San Luis, California, was founded in 1903. It is a public comprehensive university that offers agriculture, food and environment science, architecture and environment design, business, education, engineering, humanities, science, etc. The Orfalea College of Business is one of the "commercial weekly publication" national top 100 undergraduate business schools, California Polytechnic State University and the University of California, Berkeley, are the only two ranked public universities in California.
