Speaker: Lei Jiaxiao is a professor in the Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, and Director of the Tsinghua Research Center for Chinese Enterprise Growth and Economic Security. His main research areas include innovation and entrepreneurship, enterprise growth, and national economic security.
Abstract:
First, science-driven technological innovation is the fundamental source of the formation of new quality productive forces.
Second, active science-driven innovation requires institutional and mechanism innovation as well as the cultivation of a supportive innovation ecosystem.
Third, universities should respond to the cultivation of new quality productive forces through curriculum development and the cultivation of new disciplines.
