A Case Study from Our School Received the “National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases” Award at the 14th Annual Event

On September 8, the results of the 14th "National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases" competition were officially released. The competition was hosted by the China National MBA education Supervisory Committee and organized by the China Management Case-sharing Center.

The case study “Zhenghe Environmental Protection Group: Breaking Through Process Bottlenecks for Sustainable Operational Improvement” developed by Teacher Jia Xiaojing and students Xie Weizhen, Ma Peiyao, and Liu Mengyao from our school, was awarded the 14th "National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases" (General Project) prize for year 2023. To date, 11 teachers from our school have received awards, and 16 case studies have been selected as "National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases.”

Our school has been valuing case teaching, seamlessly integrating the development of management cases into the various stages of professional degree graduate education. This not only enhances the faculty's capability in developing management cases, but also greatly enhances the quality of talent development.

To drive the development of case writing and MBA case teaching in the discipline of business administration, and to motivate faculty members from various organizations to actively develop high-quality Chinese enterprise management cases that are rooted in the Chinese institutional and cultural context and relevant to the local physical conditions, the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee held the "National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases" selection event.

■ Inauguration Date: The first session was held on March 10, 2010; it is a case selection initiative with extensive coverage, significant influence, stringent procedures, and fair outcomes; to date, it has been conducted for 14 sessions.

■ The evaluation process and criteria align with international standards, and the winning cases epitomize the highest caliber of domestic management cases.

■ In the metrics system for the third round of discipline assessment by the Ministry of Education, "National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases" and cases admitted into the "Harvard Business School Case Library" and "Ivey Business School Case Library" have been officially added to the assessment standards (C5 item), becoming a crucial metric to gauge the quality of business school education.
