On March 11 and March 13, 2026, the CUFE Business School hosted the 2026 Spring Academic Forum for Doctoral Students. The forum invited Professor Miao Yuexin and Professor Wang Junjie from the Department of Marketing, as well as Professor Gao Zhennan from the Department of Finance and Financial Management, and Professor Liu Zixu from the Department of Strategy, and Professor Ji Xiaode from the Department of Human Resources and Management to serve as discussants. Six doctoral students from various years within the school presented or listened to research findings and proposals at the forum.

The forum was organized into four thematic tracks based on the presenters’ research topics: Finance and Financial Management, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management, Organization and Human Resource Management, and Marketing. During the forum, presenters outlined the background, theoretical foundations, research design, and key findings of their current studies, while also highlighting the difficulties and challenges they encountered during the research process. After carefully listening to the presentations, the guest reviewers provided specific suggestions for revisions or insightful guidance on issues such as theoretical application and analysis, research hypotheses, model construction, research methods, data sources, and discussion of results for each study. They encouraged the students to actively engage with the cutting edge of their disciplines and strive to expand the breadth and depth of their research.

The CUFE Business School’s PhD Student Academic Forum actively fulfills the school’s mission by providing a platform for PhD students to exchange ideas, share experiences, enrich their knowledge, and advance their academic progress. It encourages PhD students to focus on major issues in China’s economic and social development, organically integrate Chinese management practices with cutting-edge management theories, and actively conduct research in the field of management.
