On the morning of April 2, 2026, Xu Xianmei, Director of Business School Committee, and Lin Song, Dean of CUFE Business School, led a delegation to the Business School of Sichuan University to conduct an on-site research on the university’s party building and ideological-political work, discipline construction and talent cultivation, as well as the construction and development status of the Tech-Business School. Professor Deng Fumin, Dean of the Business School of Sichuan University, Professor Li Xiaoping, Deputy Director of the Business School Committee of Sichuan University, Professor Zhou Guichuan, Deputy Dean of the Business School of Sichuan University, Professor Jiang Peng, Director of the Talent Office, and Professor Chao Xiangrui, Executive Deputy Director of the EDP Center, warmly received the delegation. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the reform of business education in the new era, as well as the positioning, goals, and construction paths of the Tech-Business School. Yang Zhongying, Deputy Director of Business School Committee, Professor Yao Xiao, Head of the Department of Strategy, and Professor Dou Chao, Director of the Doctoral Program, accompanied the research visit.

At the beginning of the activity, accompanied by Deng Fumin, Dean of the Business School, Xu Xianmei, Director of Business School Committee, and Lin Song, Dean of CUFE Business School visited the teaching and research environment of the Business School of Sichuan University. During the research process, relevant officials from the Business School of Sichuan University introduced the school's practical experience in party-building leadership, discipline construction, and explorations of the Tech-Business School in detail. They highlighted specific measures and phased results in the deep integration of "Party Building + Faculty Affairs," the establishment of interdisciplinary platforms, and the construction of the Tech-Business School. Xu Xianmei, Director of Business School Committee, and Lin Song, Dean of CUFE Business School listened carefully to the introductions and inquired from time to time about details such as the specific curriculum system, faculty development, party building mechanisms, and student practice projects. They paid close attention to the pioneering efforts of the Business School of Sichuan University in the integrated development of party building, ideology, and technology-business education.

This research and exchange activity not only deepened CUFE Business School's understanding of the current construction status of Tech-Business Schools in fraternal institutions but also laid a foundation for future deep cooperation between the two parties. Both sides agreed to take this research as an opportunity to further establish resource sharing and cooperation mechanisms between the two schools. They aim to carry out more pragmatic cooperation in areas such as discipline construction, case development, joint party building, resource sharing, and joint talent cultivation. Together, they will explore the construction paradigm of Tech-Business Schools with Chinese characteristics, aiming to provide more innovative and politically literate interdisciplinary financial and economic talents to serve the national strategy of building a science and technology power and high-quality economic development.
