November 17, 2025, CUFE Business School successfully held the 32nd session of 2025 Excellent Academic Forum in Conference Room 615 of the Main Teaching Building at the Xueyuan South Road Campus. Professor Jiao Hao, Distinguished Jingshi Professor at Beijing Normal University, was invited as the keynote speaker for this forum. More than 20 participants attended the academic event, including faculty members, doctoral students, master’s students from CUFE Business School, as well as scholars from other universities.

The lecture was chaired by Professor Liu Xiaohong of CUFE Business School. At the beginning of the event, Professor Liu introduced Professor Jiao’s academic achievements to the audience. Professor Jiao Hao currently serves as Distinguished Jingshi Professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Normal University. He is recognized as a Leading Talent in Philosophy and Social Sciences under the National Ten Thousand Talents Program, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the principal expert of a Major Project of the National Social Science Fund of China. He has received numerous awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level, including the Young Teacher Award of Higher Education Institutions from the Ministry of Education, the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award, and the China Management Science Award. He also serves as Associate Editor of Technological Forecasting and Social Change and Associate Editor of Chinese Management Studies. His research focuses on areas including the digital economy and management, innovation management and policy, digital platform strategy, platform governance, and digital transformation. His research has been published in leading journals both in China and internationally, including Management World and Economic Research Journal.

Professor Jiao delivered a keynote speech titled “From Dynamic Capabilities to Digital Platform Ecosystems: Synergistic Driving of Dual Research Themes,” in which he systematically shared how, over more than twenty years of academic work, he has continuously focused on and integrated two core research themes—dynamic capabilities and digital platform ecosystems. Through their synergistic development, he has ultimately constructed an integrated theoretical framework for AI agent–driven management transformation in the era of the digital economy. He also reviewed his research journey and key milestones in detail, vividly illustrating how scholars can persist in a research field over the long term, continuously iterate their work, and ultimately produce systematic achievements. At the end of the lecture, Professor Jiao, drawing on his own experience, generously shared valuable insights and practical strategies for producing high-quality academic papers, offering highly actionable guidance to the young faculty members and doctoral students present and receiving an enthusiastic response.
Following the lecture, participating faculty members and students engaged in in-depth interaction and lively discussion with Professor Jiao on topics including the theoretical frontiers of digital platform ecosystems, the reshaping of management practices by AI agents, the co-evolution of dynamic capabilities and platform governance, and the choice of scientific research paths for scholars. The exchange further deepened academic exchanges and intellectual inspiration.
