CUFE Business School Successfully Hosts “AI + Supply Chain Management Program Development” Sub-Forum at China Logistics Academic Annual Conference

November 30, 2025, the sub-forum “AI + Supply Chain Management Program Development” at the China Logistics Academic Annual Conference, hosted by CUFE Business School, was successfully held in Wuhan. Over 50 experts and industry representatives from government departments, industry associations, research institutes, universities, and enterprises across multiple provinces attended the event.

The sub-forum was chaired by Professor Mou Shandong, Chair of the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management at CUFE Business School, and featured keynote speeches from leading scholars and industry experts. Professor Liu Zhixue, Deputy Director of the Logistics Teaching Guidance Committee, Part-time Vice President of China Society of Logistics, and professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, delivered a keynote speech on Smart Supply Chain Management System Development.” Jiang Chaofeng, Honorary President of the China Materials Storage and Transportation Association and member of China Society of Logistics Expert Committee, shared insights on “AI + Warehousing + Digital Talent Development.” Professor Lu Qiang, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs at Beijing Technology and Business University and Executive Director of China Society of Logistics, presented “Curriculum Development and Practice of Supply Chain Finance Empowered by Digital Intelligence.” Song Mingzhen, Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration (MBA) at Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, shared experience on Exploration and Practice: Industry Colleges Empower the Cultivation of ‘Digital Innovation +’ Supply Chain Management Talent in Border Regions.” Professor Mou Shandong delivered the report on the theme of Construction of the Supply Chain Management Program at CUFE Business School”, systematically presenting the school’s achievements in professional program construction, collaborative education, and innovative practice.

During the subsequent roundtable session, Professor Liu Zhixue of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Lu Qiang of Beijing Technology and Business University, Song Mingzhen, Associate Dean of the School of Business Administration (MBA School) of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, and Professor Wang Xinxin, Director of the Digital Economy Research Institute and Head of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department at Wuhan University of Science and Technology, engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, program construction, and faculty development in the context of AI+. They explored ways to further integrate artificial intelligence technology with supply chain management education, cultivate interdisciplinary supply chain management talent, and support the construction of a modern national circulation system while safeguarding the stability and security of industrial and supply chains.
