On May 26, 2026, the symposium on the training track of Technology Achievement Transformation for the MBA Program was successfully held at the MBA Education Center. Professor Xiao Tusheng, Deputy Director of the Graduate Student Affairs Department and Vice Dean of the Graduate School, and Professor Lin Song, Dean of the Business School & School of Technology and Business and Director of the MBA Education Center, attended the meeting.Invited experts from academia and industry included Lian Weijia, Deputy Director of the Technology Transformation Division of Zhongguancun Administrative Committee under Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission; Shen Zhengning, Chairman of Bauhinia Capital; Lü Xinyao, Chairman of Zhejiang Zhongqihua Appraisal Co., Ltd.; Zhan Feiyang, Senior Partner and Director of the Science and Innovation Law Research Center at Beijing Weiheng Law Firm; Yu Luwei, Chairman of Zhonghou Investment (Hainan) Co., Ltd.; and Wu Shuilong, Assistant Dean of the School of Management and Economics and Director of the Professional Degree Education Joint Center at Beijing Institute of Technology.Professor Dai Hongyan, Professor Lu Jizhou, Academic Director of the MBA Program, Director Zhao Tiebai from the Teaching Management and Case Development Department of the MBA Education Center, and other teaching staff also participated in the deliberation. The meeting was presided over by Professor Liu Xiaoyuan, Deputy Director of the MBA Education Center and Vice Dean of the Business School.
Professor Xiao Tusheng delivered a speech on behalf of the Graduate School. He stated that launching the new training track of Technology Achievement Transformation for the CUFE MBA Program is a key strategic move to advance the development of the university’s School of Technology and Business. The Graduate School will fully support the construction of this track, help translate high-quality educational resources into tangible training outcomes, and provide solid support for cultivating professional managers engaged in technology achievement transformation in the new era.
Professor Lin Song pointed out in his speech that establishing the School of Technology and Business is a major initiative for the university to boost the transformation and upgrading of business education. The launch of the Technology Achievement Transformation track marks an important strategic step for the MBA Program to align with the development of scientific and technological innovation and intelligent industries.
Professor Lu Jizhou, Academic Director of the MBA Program, delivered a special report on the development plan for the new track. He elaborated in detail on the background and necessity of the initiative, practical experience of universities at home and abroad, training orientation and implementation approaches, curriculum system, practical teaching arrangements, graduation requirements, faculty support and expected outcomes.
During the expert review and discussion session, experts from academia and industry conducted in-depth discussions on the orientation of the training track, curriculum optimization, connection with practical resources, evaluation of graduation outputs and faculty team building.All experts fully recognized the forward-looking vision and feasibility of the track, noting that it precisely responds to national strategic needs and industry talent shortages while highlighting the financial and economic strengths of CUFE. Drawing on practical experience in technology achievement transformation, they put forward targeted suggestions on curriculum development, competency training and integration of industry and education, offering practical ideas to improve the training program.
The successful convening of this symposium represents a vital practice of the CUFE MBA Program to follow the national innovation-driven development strategy and deepen the reform of business education. Taking this training track as a starting point, CUFE MBA will continuously improve the training system for technology-focused MBA students, cultivate more high-caliber management talents for technology achievement transformation, facilitate the in-depth integration of technology, industry and capital, and contribute the wisdom and strength of CUFE’s business education to the development of new quality productive forces.
