Empowered by Technology, Forging New Business Horizons: The 10th MBA Program Fair (Beijing Stop) Successfully Concluded, Co-hosted by the Business School, School of Technology & Business and MBA Education Center

On May 23, 2026, the 10th MBA/EMBA/MEM Program Fair & 2027 Admissions Policy Briefing (Beijing Stop) was successfully held in Lecture Hall 402, Academic Auditorium of Central University of Finance and Economics. The event was jointly organized by the University’s Business School, School of Technology & Business, MBA Education Center, and China MBA Education Network.As one of the main organizers, the Business School and MBA Education Center teamed up with prestigious universities offering MBA, EMBA and MEM programs across Beijing and Tianjin to stage this grand event. The fair drew over 200 on-site participants and more than 5,000 candidates who watched the live stream online, reflecting an enthusiastic response.

Professor Lin Song, Dean of the Business School & School of Technology & Business and Director of the MBA Education Center; Professor Liu Xiaoyuan, Deputy Director of the MBA Education Center and Vice Dean of the Business School, together with faculty members from the Admissions & Promotion Department of the MBA Education Center, attended the event as invited guests.

At the opening of the event, Professor Lin Song, Dean of the Business School & School of Technology and Business and Director of the MBA Education Center, delivered an opening speech and extended a warm welcome to fellow colleagues from peer institutions and all participating candidates.He noted that amid the in-depth development of the digital economy, rapid iteration of artificial intelligence and a volatile market environment, business education in China has entered a critical stage of transformation, where MBA education faces both opportunities and challenges. He stressed that the commercial economy remains a core pillar of social development, and MBA programs still enjoy steady and promising prospects.Dean Lin also mentioned that the School of Technology and Business was founded at Central University of Finance and Economics last March, and the university’s MBA program will undergo a simultaneous transformation and upgrading. Leveraging the university’s strong disciplinary strengths in finance and economics as well as high-quality alumni resources in investment and venture capital, the CUFE MBA program will focus on the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and develop a distinctive training track for technology transfer, to precisely meet the demand for industrial talents in the digital and intelligent era. Meanwhile, he expressed the hope to deepen exchanges and mutual learning with peer universities, and jointly explore innovative approaches to business education in the new era.

Professor Liu Xiaoyuan, Deputy Director of the MBA Education Center and Vice Dean of the Business School, elaborated on the unique strengths and highlights of CUFE MBA programs, presenting a full picture of its educational features and brand image to the candidates. He emphasized that aligned with the trends of the digital economy and technological advancement, the CUFE MBA will officially launch a brand-new concentration in Technology Achievement Transformation for the 2027 intake.This concentration centers on cutting-edge technologies, science and technology policies and laws, business operation and capital management. It is designed to cultivate technology managers who can effectively bridge technological achievements and market applications, catering to the strong talent demand of the tech industry in the new era.

Regarding admissions policies, a top concern for applicants, CUFE MBA has rolled out a host of favorable policies. The university has established a comprehensive scholarship system. Part-time candidates who participate in the Longma Experience Camp and apply to CUFE as their first choice on the national postgraduate admission platform are eligible for the exclusive Encouragement Scholarship for camp participants. The Merit Scholarship is awarded based on candidates' performance in the national postgraduate entrance examination, with a maximum grant of 50,000 yuan.In addition, over the past seven years, the admission score line for CUFE part-time MBA programs has remained consistent with the national standard. The university gives priority to applicants who list CUFE as their first choice. The part-time MBA enrollment reached 472 for the 2026 cohort, ranking among the largest of its kind in Beijing and greatly boosting applicants' chances of admission.

The first session of the 2027 Longma Experience Camp will kick off on June 6. It will feature lectures delivered by distinguished faculty, sharing sessions by outstanding alumni and current students, keynote forums and club activities. After the presentation, teachers from the CUFE MBA Admissions and Promotion Department held one-on-one consultations with candidates at the booth, patiently answering questions regarding application requirements, exam preparation plans, program options, experience camp activities and scholarship applications.
