In order to promote the reform and innovation of undergraduate education, explore ways to improve teaching quality of business education in the context of new Social Sciences, and implement and promote talent training, CUFE Business School held an undergraduate education seminar in the context of new Social Sciences. Professor Long Yonghong, Director of RUC Teaching Affairs Office, Professor Sun Guohui, Vice President of CUFE, Professor Li Guijun, Director of CUFE Teaching Affairs Office,wereinvited. Over 60 faculty and students from CUFE Business School attended the seminar. Vice Dean Jiang Feng hosted the seminar.
In his speech, Professor Sun Guohui, Vice President of CUFE, said that in order to promote the construction of new Social Sciences and new business courses, we must learn from peer business schools and pay attention to reform, innovation and development with characteristics.
Professor Long Yonghong, Director of RUC Teaching Affairs Office, shared his opinions on current undergraduate education system with the topic of "Comprehensive Curriculum Construction".
In the discussion session, professors of CUFE Business School fully communicated and interacted with Professor Long on issues such as major training and distinct program construction, curriculum designing, and ideological course promotion, etc.
Finally, Dean Lin Song summarized the forum, emphasized that university education should return to common sense and return to its original intention. He encouraged everyone to invest more in teaching, think more, take on the fundamental responsibility of teaching and education, and contribute to the further enhancement of the essential function of talent training.
This seminar discussed and reflected on the program designing, methods, and outcome evaluation of undergraduate education through a combination of experience sharing of experts and the practice sharing of professors in CUFE Business School. It provides a powerful boost for CUFE Business School to improve the quality of undergraduate education in the future.
