March 16, 2026, the CUFE Business School successfully hosted the 6th session of its 2026 Academic Forum. The lecture featured Ms. Wang Ping, Director of the Editorial Department of《Research Management》, as the keynote speaker. Over 10 participants attended the event, including faculty members, doctoral and master’s students from the School of Business, as well as scholars from other universities.

The lecture was chaired by Professor Lin Song, Dean of the School of Business at Central University of Finance and Economics, who provided a detailed introduction to Director Wang’s professional background. Director Wang Ping serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the Institute of Science and Technology Strategy and Policy, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and as Director of the Editorial Office of Research Management. Her primary research focuses on science and technology development and research management. With extensive experience in academic media management, she has previously served as an Executive Council Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Journal Association; She is a peer reviewer for the “Chinese Academy of Sciences Science and Technology Journal Review Program” and has been selected for the “Peer Review Expert Database”; she is also a member of the 7th Council of the Chinese Society for Science Studies and Science and Technology Policy. She has led projects including the “Academic Quality Enhancement Project” under Phase IV of the China Association for Science and Technology’s “High-Quality Science and Technology Journal Project”; the Hubei Provincial Collaborative Innovation Center Project on Safety Early Warning and Emergency Response Coordination Technology; the Research on the Construction and Development Strategies of the Public Safety Research Management Innovation System; and the China Science and Technology Journal International Influence Initiative.

The theme of Director Wang Ping’s lecture was “Writing Papers for the Journal of Research Management.” She provided a detailed introduction to the journal’s positioning, submission requirements, manuscaript types, structure, and specific requirements during the peer review process. Following the lecture, faculty and students in attendance engaged in a lively discussion centered on Director Wang Ping’s presentation, focusing on specific conditions and procedures for manuscript submission, thereby further promoting the exchange and collision of academic ideas.

The “Excellence in Academic Forum” is an academic exchange platform established by the CUFE Business School to fulfill its mission of “contributing new knowledge in management.” It aims to address cutting-edge theoretical issues and organizational development challenges in the field of business administration and Chinese enterprise management practices by gathering leading ideas and innovative perspectives from both domestic and international sources, thereby exploring Chinese solutions for the country’s social and economic development.
