On March 15, 2026, a seminar on the securities market, organized by the School of Business Branch of the Central University of Finance and Economics Alumni Association and hosted by the School of Business Finance Club, was successfully held at the South Campus. Nearly 40 participants attended the salon, including Xu Xianmei, Director of Business School Committee; Yang Zhongying, Deputy Director of Business School Committee; faculty representatives; alumni from various graduating classes, majors, and professions; and current students. Organized by Zhang Geng, President of the School of Business Alumni Association, and hosted by Guo Jinyao, a 2017 MBA alumnus, the salon featured discussions on two key topics: macroeconomic trends and asset allocation, as well as stock market trends and investment strategies.

At the start of the event, Xu Xianmei, Director of Business School Committee, delivered the opening remarks. She expressed gratitude to the School of Business Alumni Association and the Finance Club for establishing a high-quality platform and connecting industry resources. She noted that the event, focusing on macroeconomic trends and asset allocation as well as capital market trend analysis, served not only as a practical classroom aligned with the school’s academic strengths but also provided a valuable opportunity for faculty, students, and alumni to stay attuned to industry developments and enhance their professional understanding. She also extended a warm welcome to the two industry experts, Zhang Yi and Yuan Daoyu, who had come to share their insights, and wished the event every success.
During the session on “Macroeconomic Conditions and Asset Allocation,” two guests from a renowned domestic securities firm presented on three key areas: China’s current economic situation, future macroeconomic outlook, and asset allocation. They focused on explaining the pressures and underlying logic supporting current economic growth, the core causes of insufficient domestic demand, investment trends across various sectors, as well as asset allocation strategies and structural market opportunities.
During the “Stock Market Trends and Investment Strategies” session, the guest speakers from the securities firm discussed market trends, market structure, and sector allocation. They identified rising prices as the primary market theme for 2026, recommending a focus on the energy sector and seeking suitable trading opportunities within the technology sector.
During the interactive session, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions with the speakers on topics such as the impact of geopolitics, market timing, and the selection of investment themes, further clarifying market logic and asset allocation directions. This seminar not only deepened alumni understanding of the macroeconomy and securities markets but also strengthened industry networking. Moving forward, the CUFE Business School Alumni Association will continue to focus on cutting-edge areas of the capital markets, launching more high-quality themed events to empower alumni growth and industry development.
