Representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on university–enterprise collaborative education and the integration of industry, academia, and research. They also reached multiple agreements on jointly establishing internship and practice platforms and innovating talent cultivation mechanisms. The signing of this agreement marks a substantive step forward in promoting talent cultivation and resource sharing between the two parties.

Kuang Lin, Audit Talent Development Partner of KPMG China, noted in her remarks that the Central University of Finance and Economics and KPMG share a long-standing relationship. Over the years, the two sides have maintained close cooperation in areas such as scholarship programs and case competitions. The signing of the university–enterprise strategic cooperation agreement in 2022 laid a solid foundation for deepening collaboration. The implementation of the internship base agreement represents a concrete step in advancing this strategic framework, and both sides look forward to expanding the depth of cooperation and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.

Xu Xianmei, Director of Business School Committee, introduced the development of the school. She noted that the school has always adhered to its mission of “contributing new management knowledge and cultivating leaders with global vision, innovative spirit, and a strong sense of social responsibility.” In recent years, the school has actively explored innovative pathways for integration of industry and education, and combination of industry, academia and research, and looks forward to using the establishment of the internship base as an opportunity to expand cooperation with KPMG in areas such as talent development, curriculum design, faculty exchange, and career development.

Witnessed by all attendees, Xu Xianmei and Kuang Lin signed the internship base cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective institutions and jointly unveiled the plaque for the “Internship and Practice Base.”

During the subsequent discussion session, both parties engaged in constructive dialogue on diverse pathways for university–enterprise collaboration and the integration of education and industry. They reached a series of consensuses on future cooperation directions. Both sides agreed to take the internship base as a starting point to jointly explore a “talent cultivation–teaching innovation–career development” integrated collaboration ecosystem. In the next stage, cooperation will be further advanced through initiatives such as deepening collaboration in MBA and EDP programs, co-developing courses and case studies, and integrating internship opportunities with employment pathways. These efforts aim to promote the organic connection between the education chain, talent chain, and industry chain, enabling deeper integration and sustained sharing of resources between the university and enterprise.

CUFE Business School and KPMG China will continue to expand the scope of their cooperation and strive to co-build a model platform for university–enterprise collaborative education.
