当今领先的平台企业,比如阿里巴巴、亚马逊、百度、脸书、谷歌以及腾讯等成为世界上价值评估最高的企业。这些企业正在重塑商业社会的竞争、就业、以及价值创造方式。与此相对应的,那些非平台企业、就业者以及政府监管者被这些平台企业深深卷入到新的竞争、以及价值创造方式和价值创造过程中。本报告将探讨这些变化以及对整个行业带来的深远影响。数字平台正在以各种方式重塑各行各业,从文化影视产业到制造产业,无一幸免。通过中国和美国平台巨头的比较,本报告进一步探讨未来的发展和研究。

The leading platform firms such as Alibaba, Amazon, Baidu, Facebook, Google, and Tencent are now among the most valuable companies in the world. These firms are restructuring the nature of competition, jobs, and value creation. Already, non-platform firms, workers, and even government are being impacted by how these firms are restructuring the nature of competition, value creation and capture, and the work process. This lecture discusses these changes and the implications for firms in a wide variety of industries. Digital platforms are restructuring industries of all types from increasingly digitally delivered products such as movies and music to manufacturing industries such as automobiles. There are differences between the Chinese and US platform giants that will be briefly discussed and avenues for further research are suggested.

讲座教授:Martin Kenney

教授介绍:

Martin Kenney教授在康奈尔大学获得博士学位,目前是加州大学戴维斯分校的杰出教授。他与加州大学伯克利分校合作密切,是伯克利国际经济项目的负责人,是芬兰国家经济研究机构(ETLA)的高级顾问。Kenney教授的研究成果丰富,目前是《Research Policy》(商学院认定的国外AA级期刊)的重要编辑之一 ,同时也是加州大学伯克利出版社技术与创新系列丛书的编辑。

Professor Martin Kenney is a distinguished professor at University of California Davis, Senior Project Director at Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy, Senior Advisor at Research Institute for the Finnish Economy (ETLA). He received his PhD degree from Cornell University. He is a well-known researcher. He is one of the Receiving Editors at Research Policy and is the Editor of the book series Innovation and Technology in the Global Economy at Stanford University Press.
